The first day of the Lakme Fashion Week 2021, which was held digital on March 16th, began a journey of trending trends and looks. This time, however, the excitement for the fashion week is much greater than in previous #LakmeFashionWeek.

We're happy that things are moving to the 'new baseline,' and that fashion is gaining popularity.

The 2021 FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week was started off with a blast by Anamika Khanna.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was a show stopper for Anamika when she presented the finale just a few years back. This year, she carried a variety of outfits that showcased her distinct style in all of its glory. The show began with live painting of white outfits on models who stood in simple silhouettes.

It then morphed into a glitzy mash-up with embellished costumes and hand-painted . The display was controlled by offbeat silhouettes, cropped trousers, and fringe details, while the colour palette of beige, white, and black remained consistent.

The display was accompanied by a downpour, which washed away all of the paint and showed the models in their original white outfits.
