Day 3 of the Lakme Fashion Week did not disappoint, Indo-German designer duo Prakash and Georg for the label Cocccon.

Cocccon, Creativity Should Care, the winner of the German Sustainibility Awards Design 2021, is a social entrepreneurship turned sustainable fashion label that has changed the way the overall knowledge fashion brands.

A Circular Story Of Peace Silk.

Cocccon has defined itself as a well-known luxury fashion company, known for its iconic peace organic silk, which comes in a variety of exotic colors, designs, and prints. Producing prêt-à-porter collections that are rooted in the brand's designs and infused with vivid Indian influences.

Purn Vritt is a avantgarde collection created by the Indo-German design duo Prakash and Georg for the label Cocccon, which is making its launch in India. The collection is inspired by Jharkhand's indigenous performing art, which explores the tension between radial (jeevan chakra) and linear (jeevan rekha) lifestyles.

A performance of the traditional folk dance 'Saraikela Chhau,' which originated in eastern India, The semi-classical dance, heavily inspired by ancient books, portrays our inner struggle between Linear and Circular life.

Furthermore, this series is made from biodegradable products that have no harmful consequences. The key component is organic peace silk, which is created by silkworms who complete their life cycle and turn into beautiful butterflies.

Sericulture is carried out in accordance with strict organic protocols, which include zero-carbon steps. This style's patterns are created with zero waste methods, and the collection's auxiliaries are free of plastic (crude oil).

Alternative materials made from natural resources such as bamboo or cane are used instead of silicon/plastic boning, polyester mesh can-can, chemical adhesive-based fusing, pasting, and so on. Project Cocccon has been awarded the German Sustainability Award Design 2021 and is GOTS, WFTO, and OCS accredited.
