When artists see beauty in something and someone, they only see it, and nothing else. In the beauty that they see, they find inspirations for their art and craft. Art is beyond everything, couldn't be held and kept in any bound. And those who have the eye of a connoisseur they see the reflections of their art in the beauty those who have it. Such an artist is Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Although there are no definitions for artists, but we always define them.

When celebrating his 20 years of work of couture designing, Sabyasachi Mukherjee so calmly and serenely said," In the summer of 1999, I graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Calcutta. My graduation collection was called Kashgaar Bazaar - inspired by global nomads, gypsies, prostitutes, performing artists and my imagination of the Silk Route."

How charismatic it feels when one visits one's old collection of artwork after years of experience gaining the expertise in the field for which they started in the beginning, thinking whether they could travel the long road or not. It is always fear in the starting but as you churn through you see you making mark of your creativity.

Sabyasachi has come the long way in the fashion world, and recently he celebrated his 20 years of journey showcasing his collection Kashgaar Bazaar at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, which was attended by the selected luminaries of the fashion world and the Bollywood stars who always are the fan of his body of artwork.

Sometimes I think that he is the God of every strand of thread that he chooses for designing his clothes. He is the maestro of it. His unique eye the way he sees it in the design is uncompromised, incomparable and unmatched. I think he has a phantom thread about which everyone is unaware, and he weaves into his every piece of artwork that he crafts.
