The hallmark of Sabyasachi Mukherjee is using pastel shades embroidered with traditional Keri or floral motifs inspired from the historical craftsmanship embellished with golden Zari or zardozi and sequins, highlighted with Swarovski and pearl, giving a rich and royal look. The small tassels at the end of the lehenga looked very attractive. Kanupriya got hooked at Taj Falaknuma Palace in unique Italian theme decoration with white and florals. The Mehndi rasam was by the poolside during which she wore an ivory saree with cutwork patterns on the border. The mangalsnanam was very traditional with white and yellow flowers along with bells hanging giving an authentic south Indian ambience. Her yellow dress with broad golden border highlighting made it look apt for the ceremony. She then changed into red kanjeevaram sari later.

During the engagement ceremony along with the sangeet function, we saw Kanupriya in a special Manish Malhotra designed gown with glittering silver sequins all over. The entry of the bride and groom was dazzling with the firecrackers on both the side of the decorated pathways.
