Pawan 1.0 Oct 08,2019I booked KD Photography for 3 events (Engagement, Wedding and Birthday function) in Jan,Feb,Mar 2019. So I am in a good position to write an honest review based on my experience with KD Photogprahy. His work is OK OK but my experience with him was not very good. So many incidents happened during 6 months but I am writing only the summary below, to keep the post short. I would NOT recommend KD Photography due to following reasons:- - He is not at all professional and doesn't listen to customer feedback. - He missed to capture many important moments properly. Do not hire him to cover Wedding functions. - He never delivers on time. He delayed the delivery of Albums and Videos by more than 4 months (expected time was 30-45 days). That too he delivered after 4 months in June/July 2019 after a series of continuous follow-ups for more than 2-3 months. This was the case when 70% payment was done in advance before the function in Feb 2019. - His work attitude is not good, in his mind he thinks he is a big shot photographer, but that doesn't reflect in his work. When I asked why there is so much delay, he said and I qoute his words "Big photographers deliver in 10-12 months". - His words have no value. He would promise you something and forgets the next day and he never gives any confirmation in writing. Haven't received a single response on mail from him even though the terms and conditions which he sent me 6 months after the booking (I did the booking in Nov 2018, he sent me his Terms & conditions on 15 May 2019, I am pretty sure these didn't exist before May 2019) states that all communication should be via mail. Had he given these so called "Terms and Conditions" during booking, I would not had given him the booking in first place. - The video recordings which he gave for the functions were not good. In the name of processing the videos, he just stitched different clips and gave a very naive video with audio muted at certain places, abrupt transitions etc. Doesn't look to be the work of a professional. My juniors in college used to do better video editing than this and he calls himself a professional. - He will simply lie that work is done/ready, to get the payment. He lied to me that videos were ready with the edits I suggested. I made the remaining payment, later when I saw the videos, he didn't do any edits. He simply said so to take the payment. After that he stopped picking my calls and stopped responding to messages. - Till date he has not edited one of the videos. I gave up following up after June 2019, when he stopped responding. So actually he never finished the complete work. If you still want to try your luck with KD Photogprahy, please ensure to discuss below points in advance:- - Please take written confirmation of delivery dates, what all will be delivered, how much and when the payments be made. Do not give more than 20% payment in advance. - Please do ask for his "Terms & Conditions" sheet before booking. - Make the remaining payment only after checking the delivered work. Do not take his word for that, he lies. My Conclusion: It was a MISTAKE hiring him to cover one of the most important events of my life "My Wedding". I would NOT recommend KD Photography for any important functions.
