Radio is one of the earliest modes of communication. It serves as a medium of connecting people. Commemorating the role played by radio in making the world a big family UNESCO announced 13 February as World Radio Day. Celebrating the occasion of world radio day, Shaadidukaan had roped in “Happy world radio day 2020” contest which celebrated this year’s radio day theme “Radio and Diversity.” In the contest, the participants were asked to share their radio experience or a story and the best of them stood a chance of winning an exciting prize. 

We are thankful to all the contestants for their active participation in the contest “Happy World Radio Day 2020” and helping us in making it a success. The response received was phenomenal: we received several heart touching stories. Some entrant stories were about real-life experiences and instances that they had with radio. It was seen the irrespective of the various communication mediums available Radio continues to touch lives, connect netizens and bring about change in the society. The stories were interesting and full of inspiration. This had made picking of the best entry an arduous task. 

After days of analyzing we are pleased to announce the winners of the contest who will receive a gift hamper from Shaadidukaan. The winners of the contest are:
