Prajakta Koli married her longtime beau Vrishank Khanal in a beautiful ceremony in Kajrat, as seen in the famous Netflix series ‘Mismatched’. Prajakta Koli aka Mostlysane is  a digital creator, actor and an Author. Whereas, Vrishank is a corporate lawyer who is currently working in an investment banking company in Kathmandu. From college sweethearts to marriage, they have completed a long journey.

As Prajakta told, they first met at the home of their common friend when she was 18 & Vrishank was 22.  Its been more than a decade, they know each other. After almost 11 years of knowing each other, Vrishank decided to pop the big question while travelling to west Virginia in front of a scenic waterfall, and Koli said Yes. In an interview Prajakta told that they are alikes, they both like to spend their time at home instead of going out & this is the one thing that works for them.

All You Need To Know About Prajakta & Vrishank’s Wedding

The couple officially tied the knot  in a stunning sunset ceremony in Kajrat. Their dream team roped up to make the seamless celebration possible. From a pool side mehndi to golden hour pheras, the two days celebration was totally mesmerizing. Here are some of the highlights, you need to know about the wedding.

Mehndi

For mehndi, Prajakta opted for a a beautiful embroided skirt with waistcoat style top and Vrishank wore an embroided Nehru Jacket set. Both the outfits were from ‘Anita Dongre’ couture. In an interview, Prajakta told that, “Even before planning for the wedding, I have planned my bridal wardrobe. I did a campaign for Anita, few years ago, during that I told her ‘Whenever I will get married, I want  this lehnga’".

Apart from the outfits, the highlights from the mehndi ceremony were, orange marigold decor, Ikat prints, Clay pots and ghungroo arrangements on the table & the wooden pillars with Jharokhas. The mehndi ceremony was totally matching Prajakta’s vibe-  unfiltered & unflappable.

Haldi

The haldi was arrange on the lakeside at sunset time. Hand embroided Zari arches were arranged to welcome the guests. The area was decorated with rattan furniture, linen & brass urlis and  fresh flowers. On the bride’s demand the tablescape was adored with lots of sunflowers. Prajakta wore an ivory sharara with gotta patti work by Roze, while Vrishank complemented her in matching Kurta set. Koli completed her look with nude makeup and statement jewellery pieces by ‘Amamajewels’.

Sangeet

For the sangeet night Prajakta chose her mother’s saree. Her look was  giving a proper Marathi bride vibes with traditional saree, choker necklace, Marathi nath, green bangles, a chandrakar bindi  and gajra. She was radiating pure elegance in the look. Her fiance, Vrishank complemented her perfectly in an all black look.

Wedding Day

For wedding ceremony on 25^th feb, the couple opted for a white and sage palate. The golden hour pheras took place in lush lawns under the shadow of a tree. The ambiance featured hundreds of floral strings, chandeliers, ferns, and foliage. For her wedding look Prajakta ditched red, she chose a Parijat pattern lehnga by Anita Dongre. The another reason of choosing it was that the another word for her name Prajakta is Parijat. The lehnga also featured Pichwai Paintings and pockets. It was rounded off with two dupattas and jewellery by Anita. The groom opted for an ivory sherwani to match with his bride.

Reception

For reception, Prajakta wore a Banarasi red saree which was gifted by her in laws to her as a wedding gift. She paired it with marathi nath and simple makeup. Vrishank wore a classic Nepali Daura- Suruwal for the occasion.
