Out of all the lavish celeb weddings, an intimate affair is difficult to see nowadays. But Sonakshi and Zaheer managed to plan an in-house wedding with the nearest and dearest ones. It was one of the most intimate and unfiltered celebrity weddings. 

On their special day, rather than flaunting the latest silhouette and designer outfits, the couple opted for minimalism. From decent affairs to elegant wedding outfits, everything was a perfect blend of love and tradition. 

For the wedding, Sonakshi Sinha chose to carry on the legacy that her mother holds. 

She was looking breath-taking in her mom’s 44-year-old vintage saree and heirloom jewelry. 

The decent styling and sleek bun with white florals was an elegant choice. And, to complement her, Zaheer also opted for a graceful ivory chikankari kurta and pyjama. Their candid and stunning photographs are all over social media. With a regal backdrop of white, the hues of red are looking mesmerizing. The couple was looking cozy and perfect for each other.

How They Met 

Well, the couple is all in love, but let’s go down memory lane and take a look at how they met. 

Rumor has it that Sonakshi and Zaheer met first at a party hosted by Salman Khan. Who knew that mere eye contact would turn into a relationship of 7 years? Their first meeting is said to have laid the foundation of friendship, which grew into love.

Professionally, they crossed paths in the year 2022 with the film XXL, which aired on Netflix. The collaboration on this project strengthened their relationship. 

Other than that, the couple officially made their relationship public in 2023 at Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma’s Eid celebration. This event gave the media a hint about their relationship. Although the couple never showed their relationship publicly but, Zaheer’s heartfelt wishes on Sonakshi’s birthday, along with romantic pictures, clearly showed their love for each other.

For her reception, she opted for a red silk saree. The traditional look was much similar to Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone’s reception look. 

The actress was looking drop-dead gorgeous in a classic red silk saree from Raw Mango. And to complete her look, she wore a custom green necklace by Tyaani jewelry with red bangles. The white flowers on her sleek bun and sindoor in between were more than stunning.

Zaheer Iqbal looked dashing in an embroidered white jacket with a kurta and pants. The duo looked perfect and made for each other. Videos from the reception have now surfaced; where in one clip, there was a giant white cake with colorful florals, and the couple was dancing to Sonakshi's famous songs and having a gala time. Also, it had beautifully written initials with ‘ZS’ on the base.
